Why Run?

I first found myself becoming actively involved in city government in 2015. What I found was a large lack of representation for the residents, disregard for how they want their community to progress, questionable decision making, poor communication, and severely lacking both accountability and transparency. Since 2015 I have actively helped residents in seeking resolutions to concerns that have affected them or our community. I ask the hard questions and communicate with residents openly. I cannot and will not make promises that I have no control over as 1 vote. I can promise to continue to push for Accountability, Communication, Transparency as well as ensure the dialogue and discussions occur WITH our residents included. I can promise to always hold my character and core values in place above all else- Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.
